Seven years before the dawn of Final Fantasy VII, the Shinra Company is the world’s dominant force. Shinra’s power stems from a monopoly on mako energy and unsurpassed military prowess driven by SOLDIER, an elite group of combat operatives. Those part of SOLDIER first-class are the envy of the country. Zack is a SOLDIER second-class who longs to move up.
